Root canals

The root canals, are a set of developed treatments to prevent tooth extraction, either by endodontic retreatment ducts or APICOECTOMY.

A root canal is what is known as “kill the nerve,” that is to clean the inflamed, infected or necrotic tissue from inside the roots and pulp chamber and seal it as tight as possible.

This problem can result from a deep cavity, severe trauma or fractured tooth.

In case of failure, you can try to save the tooth with subsequent re-treatment of the canal or APICOECTOMY.

An APICOECTOMY involves the removal of the apical end by minor surgery and subsequent retrograde treatment of root canals.
